MODELLING STANDARDS |
The following standards have been established by the Tramway and Light Railway Society for the average tramway modeller in various scales and gauges. They represent practices used and proven by many tramway modellers and use readily available items. By using these recommended or suggested standards, a model tramway layout can be built that is realistic and reliable using readily available items and these standards will also make it easier to run your models on the tracks of other modellers. For reference the actual prototype dimensions are given as a comparison.
